This Privacy Policy describes how Screen Recorder ("the Application", "we", "us", or "our") handles your information when you use our mobile application.

🔒 Local-First Guarantee: Your screen recordings and audio captures are processed and stored exclusively on your local device. We do not transmit, upload, or sell your recorded videos, screen content, or audio to any remote servers.

2. Information Collection and Processing

We believe in strict data minimization. Below is how the application handles data and device access:

Screen Video Capture (MediaProjection API): Used solely when you explicitly grant system permission to capture your screen in real time. The resulting MP4 video file is saved directly to your device's local app storage or Movies directory.
Microphone Audio (RECORD_AUDIO): Optional audio recording combined with screen capture (e.g., commentary or voiceover). Voice data is recorded directly into the local video file and never uploaded.
Local Storage (Recordings & Settings): Recording metadata (duration, file size, timestamp, resolution) and user preferences are maintained in a secure local Room SQLite database on your device.

3. Android Permissions & Justifications

To provide screen recording functionality conforming to Android specifications, the Application requests the following permissions:

`INTERNET` & `ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE`	Normal	Used exclusively by Google AdMob SDK to request and display advertisements.

4. Third-Party Services and Advertising

The Application utilizes Google AdMob to display banner, interstitial, and rewarded video ads. Google AdMob may collect and process pseudonymous identifiers and diagnostic data in accordance with their privacy policies:

No personally identifiable information (such as your name, email, or video recordings) is ever shared with advertising networks or third-party tracking services.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Because all recordings and database logs reside strictly on your local device:

You have complete control over your recordings and may delete individual videos directly from the Videos screen inside the app at any time.
Deleting the Application or clearing its storage via Android System Settings will delete all locally stored recordings, app cache, and preferences.

6. Children’s Privacy

The Application does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us, and we will take appropriate measures.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with a revised "Last Updated" date on this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
